These terms apply to the Pitchear app and the pitchear.app website (“Pitchear”), made by an independent developer in Ukraine (“we”). By using Pitchear you agree to them.
What Pitchear is
Pitchear is an ear-training app for musicians. It plays sounds and asks you to recognise them. It is a training tool, not a course with guaranteed results, and it is not a medical device: nothing in it diagnoses or measures your hearing in a medical sense.
Your account
You must be 13 or older (or the age your country sets) to use Pitchear. You need an account to use it; it is created when you first sign in with Apple, Google or an email code. Keep access to that sign-in method to yourself — whoever signs in with it is you as far as Pitchear can tell. You can delete your account at any time in Settings; see the Privacy Policy for what happens then.
Using Pitchear
Use Pitchear for yourself and as intended. Do not try to break into it, overload it, copy its content or sounds for another product, or interfere with other users. We may suspend or close an account that does.
What is ours
The app, its design, its sounds and its name belong to us. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use the app; nothing else is transferred.
App stores
You get Pitchear from the App Store or Google Play, and their terms apply to the download as well. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and are not responsible for Pitchear or for supporting it; that is on us.
Changes and availability
We change Pitchear all the time: features come and go, and the app may be unavailable now and then. We try not to lose your progress, but we cannot promise the service will always be there or always be the same.
No warranty, limited liability
Pitchear is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, or for more than what you paid us in the last twelve months (which today is nothing). Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending
You can stop using Pitchear whenever you like and delete your account in Settings. We may close accounts that break these terms.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine. If something goes wrong, write to us first at support@pitchear.app and we will try to sort it out; if that fails, disputes go to the courts of Ukraine. Nothing here limits the consumer rights the law where you live gives you.
